The Lincoln Rules

Navigating the policies of The Lincoln ensures a smooth concert experience for all attendees. This historic theater maintains specific guidelines designed to preserve the venue, ensure safety, and enhance enjoyment for everyone at Wyoming concert events.

Age Requirements and Restrictions

The Lincoln generally welcomes patrons of all ages, though specific events may have their own age restrictions. Here’s what you need to know:

  • » Most shows are all-ages events unless specifically noted otherwise.
  • » Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • » Some performances may be restricted to 18+ or 21+ depending on content or artist requirements.
  • » Age restrictions are always clearly noted on the event page and ticketing information.
  • » A valid ID is required for age-restricted events.

Prohibited Items

For safety and comfort, several items are not permitted inside the venue during performances. These include:

  • » Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives and sharp tools)
  • » Large bags, backpacks, and purses exceeding 6″ by 9″ dimensions
  • » Outside food and beverages (including water bottles)
  • » Professional cameras with detachable lenses or recording equipment
  • » Pets (except registered service animals)
  • » Illegal substances
  • » Laser pointers
  • » Selfie sticks

No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the venue, and violators will be asked to leave. Marijuana use is also prohibited as it remains illegal in Wyoming. For additional questions about restricted items, please contact the venue.

The Bag Policy and Security Screening 

The Lincoln implements security measures to ensure patron safety during events. Here’s what you should know:

  • » Small clutches, wristlets, and fanny packs (6″ by 9″ or smaller) are permitted.
  • » Medical bags and diaper bags (14″ by 14″ by 6″ or smaller) are allowed.
  • » All attendees pass through metal detectors at entry.
  • » Security conducts bag searches at the entrance.
  • » Prohibited items must be returned to vehicles or discarded.

Re-Entry and Movement Policies

No re-entry is permitted once you exit The Lincoln. A smoking area is available outside the front entrance for those wishing to smoke. Movement between levels is permitted but may be restricted during peak capacity.

Service Animal Guidelines

The Lincoln accommodates service animals while maintaining a safe environment for all patrons. Only registered service animals are permitted (no emotional support animals or pets). Service dogs must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered at all times.

Animals must remain in the seating area of the individual with a disability. Be aware that The Lincoln concerts feature loud music that may affect animals’ sensitive hearing.
